Story

The ReSound owner approached Lb+d to brand and position his emerging media company as fun, modern, inclusive and transformative. The results are exactly that.

Before we began the project I recommended that alternative names and positioning statement be considered becasue ReSound seemed to only suggest audio, and the company was actually steaped in all media. Reflect was presented and adopted as the company name.

I presented “stories demanding…” as a positioning statement open at both ends. The strategy was that the statement would begin and finish with words describing a particular story’s category, such as “LGBTQIA stories demanding to be told”, “BIPOC stories demanding to be heard”, etc.
